Dr. Meadows joins Alta View Sports Medicine as a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in sports medicine with emphasis in arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, hip, and knee conditions. In addition, he also performs joint replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee, treats general conditions of the hand, and provides fracture care.
Having grown up in Sandy, Utah, Dr. Meadows is excited to establish his family and practice in his hometown. He carried out his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He attended medical school at The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude and was nominated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.
He completed orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he trained under leaders in the field of orthopedic surgery and served as the administrative chief resident his final year. He completed his fellowship training with Tahoe Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area where he had the opportunity to work with the U.S. Men's Alpine Ski Team both locally and during training camp in New Zealand as well as treat outdoor enthusiasts of all seasons.
Dr. Meadows and his wife, Meg, have four children and enjoy snow and water skiing, biking, golfing, and traveling.
